Change properties when locked by Version Control

Some things (like diagrams) can't change when locked,
and other things can change (like properties of an element.
When I want to save (after rewriting some notes for instance), I notice the lock (since the save button is greyed out).
I get angry (at myself and at the way it works).

Why was I able to type at the first place, why wasn't it greyed out, just read only or something?

That sounds like a bug. Check that it is still present in build 832.

If it is please submit a bug report - use the link near the bottom of any forum page - so that Sparx can get this into the 'official' queue of updates for the next build (or so).
