I would like to see a port of EA to Mac OS X 10.5.

Is this on the cards at all?

A port to Mac OSX (or Linux for that matter) has not been currently scheduled, but the possibility has not been ruled out for the future.

In the short term, Enterprise Architect can be run on an Intel Mac using the CrossoverOffice compatibility layer. Sparx is committed to providing support full support for registered Macinstosh and Linux users running EA under CrossOver office.

Please see http://www.sparxsystems.com/support/faq/ea_on_linux.html for more details about running EA under CrossOver.

Alternatively, if it suits, EA could be installed on a virtual machine, such as VMWare, VirtualBox or Parallels

PS: If you'd like to log a request for a native Mac OSX port, please visit our feature request page http://www.sparxsystems.com/support/feature_request.html
