Tool tips for add-in menu items?

I've got my add-in working well and am ready to deploy it to all of our users.  I'd really like to have tool-tips attached to the menus (some things need to have a package selected, others an element, etc. and I want to let the user know what to highlight).

Can I add tool tips to the add-in menu items?  If so, how?

I don't think EA offers that feature for addins.
You can always request it using the feature request link on the bottom of the page.
