Desktop icon - not wanted

I installed the latest build of EA.
It put a shortcut on my desktop.
I didn't ask it to do it,
I didn't want it to do it.

I value an uncluttered desktop.

I propose that this install behaviour should be selectable, but not the default, behaviour when EA is installed.

I don't believe that every app I install should, by right, expect to have its icon on my desktop.

Your thoughts welcome.

I agree in principle, but this is very low on my priority list :-/

Every time I install EA I still get this unwanted icon.
Most installers ask if you want a desktop icon, this one doesn't (as of 906).
