Validation Error Messages

When validating a part of my model I get the following error message.
MVR030002 - error (Initial (Initial State)): Initial:kind property has invalid value:"0".

I cannot find this kind property anywhere in my model. Can anyone tell me how to get to it?

Initial is the initial state (of type StateNode) in a state machine

I have searched the model and the xml and can find no reference to Initial:kind.

Initial is an initial state in a state machine.

I have reduced the model to just this state machine so You can see for yourselves. Where can I send it?
