Image library only supports bitmaps

Hi,

When I add PNG files to the image library, they're automatically converted in the bitmap format.
As a result I lose the transparent property of my PNG image in EA.

Would it be possible to resolve this issue in a future build of EA?

I doubt that. Transparency has been asked for since years. Still it's not available. So the likelihood is great that we will never see it.
