Custom Diagram Property Notes

Is there a way to customize the standard Diagram Property Notes found on the Diagram menu?  We would like to be able to add architect-specific or project-specific data.

What do you mean by customize?

You can write a Script or an Addin to fill the notes property.

Would like to either modify the default data types (Name, Author, Version, Created, Updated) to a new default or make the items selectable.

You could render a dedicated element with a stereotype assigned with a shape script to show the needed info. Or you place a Text element on the diagram programmatically.
