Allow Element notes to have format control.

Allow some amount of format control in the element notes, Font type / size, text style (header/body) etc.

John

this is a fantastic idea, fully worthy of Sparx's attention.

You won't be surprised to hear that it has been suggested previously, e.g.
Improve text format options in notes field
Embedding images in Notes
Richer note fields (on elements)
Pasting rich text into notes
Adding Tabular column in Notes
Note there are also some reasons provided as to why Sparx think this is not such a good idea

Your best bet is to submit a feature request, but not worry too much about if and when you might see it.

Hope this helps

Watch it skiwi, your sarcasm is showing..

I think what's needed is TWO Notes fields:  One the FULL formatable text (including style sheets) and the other the underlying content only (No formatting).  That way you change one, the other gets changed.  You can then pick which one to display/and or export.

It increases the size but it allows smart processing when required...

Your idea is a good one.
What worries me is that the steadfast premise that changing the underlying EA data model restricts ideas such as this, or means they are implement in a kludgy (pile of cards) manner.
Additionally by not changing the data model gradually, it becomes harder to change it.

Yes, I have yet to understand the rationale around not changing the data model - other than they can't control the consequences...

I may implement it using tagged values, but I don;t have the bandwidth now.
