Document fragments
« on: January 18, 2016, 10:33:11 am »
I thought it was high time I got to grips with document fragments.

I created a fragment

I then took

and updated it to

and voila, no more images!

Any ideas?

I think you have to make a distinction between the Package Diagram and the Element Diagram.
So you could need two template fragments.

My memory says that fragments are only applied to elements. Although it is a bit foggy on the issue.

I'm confused about "only applying to elements".

When creating the "fragment" the EA document editor seemed to provide me with the full power of the "Sections".

Does that mean I should manually delete the package > <package tags/brackets?
Or I cannot have a fragment with a diagram > <diagram tags?

Its odd that under "Sections" diagram appears twice, directly under package, and again under package > element; and further that one has no subsections, the other does have subsections.

In any case I would have expected that the diagrams under elements should have shown up
