Formatting UML Constraints
« on: January 25, 2016, 01:12:58 pm »
I need to format some items that are defined as UML Constraints (t_object.type= Constraint) - attached to relationships..  I want to be able to suppress the display of the Notes field (as the constraint narrative) on some diagrams.

The Constraint diagram object does not respond to Feature Visibility... [Ctrl+Shift+Y], nor is it on the context menu.

I noticed that, by default, rectangular notation is set to On (UCRect=1;) in t_diagramobject.Objectstyle, but resetting that has no effect, nor does playing about with the notes related instructions therein.

Is it possible to suppress the display of the notes field for a Constraint?  If not, why not?  Similarly with the Notes object...   Why can't we say we want to se eonly the first 100 characters of the note/constraint?

Is there any point in reporting this?
