Images in element notes

Newbie question: my users are so used to working in MS Word, that they want to bring word documents into EA, or at least sections of them. The text is no problem, but copied images look fine at first, until I look at another element. When I get back, the image has been transformed into a link that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. :-?

Having the images visible in the EA gui, such as in Use Case notes is probably a must, but also to get them shown in the rendered documentation.

Using the image library seems to be only for diagrams, right? Or have I just missed something really obvious here?

Element notes do not support images.  (Yes, they are shown initially but they are not supported)

If you want images or tables we recommend using a linked document.
