MDG: tags on attributes?
« on: April 21, 2016, 09:01:45 pm »
I’m using MDG to create my metamodel, and have plenty of tags on customized elements (based on classes, components etc.)

But I don’t see how I can create a set of customized tags on the attributes of my elements.
How do I do that?

Define a steretoype that extends Attribute and add the tagged values to that stereotype as per usual.

Thanks Geert.

And how do I associate my new customized attribute stereotype with my element stereotype - so that when the EA author creates attributes on that element, it will be attributes with my new attribute stereotype?

I don't know if that is possible.

I think you have to go the Add-In route for that.

Yes, (AFAIK) there is no mechanism in the MDG language to create such a second-order relationship.
