In the "Find in Project" tab how do you create a new "Search Category". The new category and the associated searches will need to be included in the MDG creation process.

The category will automatically be create as the name of your MDG if you add searches in your MDG.

I have a repository where the searches are define but when I generate the MDG and profiles the searches are not listed and don't end up in the MDG file.

so back to my first set of questions. ;)

1) How do I create a custom Search category?

2) How do I get it to be part of the MDG creation process?

A) Make sure you are at least at version 12.1
B) Use the MDG creation tool to create the MDG
C) select the searches you want to be included
D deploy your MDG.

You will see an extra category in the searches with the name of the MDG. There is no way (that I know of) to manipulate the categories any further.
