Documentation / HTML Generation Missing All of a Sudden
« on: July 27, 2016, 09:38:27 pm »
I have been generating HTML output from SPARX models for quite some time.  But now, all of a sudden, the context menu option for "Documentation" is missing, and not matter what I try I cannot get it back.  I even added the menu to the Project Browser which includes "Documentation."  It does not work.   It is probably worth noting that as of late SPARX crashes some times at startup.  I cannot definitively say that there is a cause-affect relationship here.

Suggestions?  Help?

Try running a database consistency check and contact Sparx support via mail if that does not help.

Database check:  No Joy.
Re-install/Repair SPARX: No Joy.

But here is my work-around for what appears to be a missing forever context menu selection for documentation:
  • Turn on the "Publish"  Adds a popout menu with things like Start, Viewpoint, .., Publish
  • Select Publish
  • At the top of the Publish popout there is an option for "Generate Web Pages."  Click on it
  • Eureka!  The Publish to HTML is there.
    • The context menu selection seems to be long gone, though.  :(
