eclipse addin bug ?

I have EA 8 and under Add-ins, I see TWO options,

Addin->connect external project--> eclipse
         ->eclipse

I was to connect my EA to eclipse, so I don't now which of these options to pick

if I click Add-ins ->connect external project, it pops up this message

eclipse must be running to complete this action. Launch eclipse now ?

Even after it launches eclipse it continues to ask me the same question.... What is the right way to hookup EA with eclipse projects ? Is it a one to one correspondence between EA project and eclipse project ? or can I have more than one eclipse project associated with EA ?
