I am currently running the enterprise version of SPARX/EA.  The program version
is 9.3.935.

I wanted to know if I can create a diagram with the Archimate 2.0 diagram types in EA
and then export them to a format that is either native *.archimate or other file format that allows me
to use the exported file and import into Archi for viewing and editing.  If possible I would like to reverse this process and import diagrams from Archi into EA.

I am working with another team that uses the archi desktop tool (not SPARX/EA)
and we would like to share documents back and forth and make changes with either
tool.

You'll need at least version 12.1 in order to be able to use the Archimate Exchange format that is also supported by Archi.

Probably 13 as there were a few display bugs with the original implementation.    My maintenance ran out so I haven't been able to test what's been fixed.

The only display bugs that I ever saw were actually limitations of the format itself. There was no conformant way to export some positions etc.

I logged a bug on the 21st of March and corresponded with Dermot about it.  Parts of connectors were invisible after importing from Archi and you had to move them all to get them to draw properly.

Ah, I should have qualified my statement with "related to ArchiMate exchange". The issue you're talking about is not actually related to the exchange, which is why I didn't think of it.

I still have an issue with the z-order to investigate and (possibly) report.
after an import from Archi the z-orders where completely upside down (in v12.1)
Still have to check if that is also the case in v13 before submitting the bug.
