Auto-track
« on: November 16, 2016, 09:31:00 pm »
Often it would be helpful when selecting an item in a diagram that this item will automatically selected in Project Browser.

This is very similar to Visual Studio's "Track item in solution explorer" feature.

You could write a simple [ur=http://bellekens.com/ea-matic/l]EA-Matic[/url] script to do so

Use Alt-G.

Auto-track implies that it should be done automatically  ;)

The odd thing: Sometimes the hotkey is Alt+G, sometimes Shift+Alt+G .... --> This is a bit annoying ... Solution?

http://bellekens.com/ea-matic/ looks interesting. But at the moment my focus is on doing modelling rather than developing a script. I've done my request under "Suggestions and Requests" since I am in the opinion that such a feature should be implemented by Sparx.

Thank you all for your replies anyway!

Alt-Shift-G selects the diagram in the browser. Alt--G the element.
