how to dock/group an element with text
« on: November 18, 2016, 11:50:22 am »
I am trying to dock/group an element (like an UML component) with a text box so that the text box is directly above the element and moves with the element if I reposition it. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you!

Hi,

why don't you visualise your text inside the UML model element? It's easy and effective. You can control the amount of text you want to visualise.

You may place a boundary around an UML element, a Note or other elements. If you assign an image to the boundary it should be possible not to see the boundary.

Kind regards,

Helmut

Or you set the border color to the diagram background color. Works only partially since the default diagram color has a gradient.
