Images cropped in generated document

Has anyone observed an issue like this where images are truncated/cropped in a generated document



Build 1307, images are included using a diagram fragment.

Yes,

A colleague of mine "sometimes" has the same problem.
We haven't been able to pinpoint when exactly this happens.

I'm extremely pleased to find this fixed in build 1308, just saved me putting in a fault report.

It does not seem to be fixed in the current build. I have the same issue that Diagram images are cut when i create reports or publish diagrams as images...

It is extremely inconvenient, but i found that a compure restart sometimes helps (perhaps thats by accident)

Any ideas?

I'm seeing this in V14. I'm sure I've seen a post about changing some configuration thats cures this, but I can't locate it.

I see the same issue in the 13.0.1310 build 1310 Registered Enterprise Architect (Corporate Edition).
I think this is somewhat related to conflicts to my Dell laptop Windows 10 screen resolving, but this is just the guess.

My observation is the following:
 1. I was working with the 1360x768 resolution in Windows "Display settings" (right click desktop, you know)
   Why I did that? Not sure, I think at some point it seemed a good font size to my eye ...
   With this setting the EA generated cropped images.
   I also noticed, that when I add an element to a diagram, the EA changes resolution of the screen shortly, then renders it back to selected setting.
 2. I think when in the office with external screen the issue was gone (I will reconfirm ...)
 => These two facts brought me to idea of playing with screen resolution.
 => I opened Windows "Display settings" again, and looked for the resolution marked "(recommended)"
  That was of course the highest 1920x1080 (Recommended)
  The font scale changed to 150% (Recommended) automatically
=> I generated the doc again, bingo! the images are no cropped anymore.

observations

As promissed, I tested Doc.Generation in the office setup with 2 displays in extended screen. The generation worked in recommended setup without cropping images. Also when I changed both displays to 1360x768 I could generate documentation without cropping images. For me this means, the trouble happens at least when single laptop display is used in some strange from Windows/EA point of view display congfiguration.

Summary: I cannot really confirm that I found the solution, but rather a hint direction how to avoid image cropping in documentation.

Appreciate any sharing info from the community.

Im using EA 14.27 and somtimes the right line from the Diagram frame is croped.
I now using a 1 cell table that the diagram is placed inte report template.
Now I can resize the 1 cell table as I want and the diagram is then resized inside that table.

The images in my generated document is being cropped in v15.1

Any ideas?

Default settings in EA is NOT to scale to page.
I set in preferens Scale to 1 Page A4 Landscape as default, and Change on each diagram that needs scale to Portrate
