Change UI of Enterprise Architect to another natural language?

I have searched a lot inside the forum, help to Enterprise Architect ... but found no information about that.

Is there any possibility / any support available for to have a different language than English for your UI? When you look at the online help, you only find the information about spelling dictionaries http://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/12.1/project_management/check_in_languages_other_than_.html. It is not unusual that you have in a lot of tools the option to change the natural language.

2 questions:

• Is there support available for something like  that?
• If yes, how is the support and availability for the solution in current and future versions of EA?

There is a German language pack and a French one (I heard of, but the last words were not praising). I think that English as lingua franca is accepted in the IT world and should probably be understood anyway.

We would like to use a German language pack (if available). Do you have any links on existing resources?

We found http://blog.sparxsystems.de/2010/11/language-switcher/ (which sounds as solution pretty strange), and it references only an old version of EA (8.0). I doubt that this solution may run well today.

Sorry, I don't get it. When I go to that page, I see a German advertising page of SparxSystems. I have asked for an internationalized version of Enterprise Architect 13. Is that somewhere on that page (and I don't see it)?

When I search for "Deutsch" I find the switch English / German of the web site and the German training docs.

When I search for "Sprache" (Language) I find the "10 programming languages EA supports".

Where should I find the German Language pack, though?

The German version of EA is maintained by the sister company Sparx Systems Central Europe (located in Vienna)

Maybe you better get in contact with them in order to get translated version. I'm sure they will be able to help you out.

Actually it's Denglish (Deutsch-English), like parts of the referenced site. If the language pack is of the same quality - well...

The English language has had the benefit of Shakespeare when it comes to idiom (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_to_me).

Ah, Shakespeare. Hard to digest in the translation and even harder in his native tongue (at least for me). Kauderwelsch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibberish) is the idiom used here for that kind of language. The previous link also leads to Grammelot which I never heard before as idiom (definitely it's what Pink Floyd uses in Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together - which again resembles German in some way - you know that 3. Reich-talk).
