How do i create some templated tags or attributes

I am documenting my current as-is infrastructure and EA has been great. I was using Tags for specific elements like IP Address, Data Centre etc. But i wondered if there was a quick way for the project to defined these for the node that the tags are predefined and i just update values? Based on the type of object in the diagram?

Create stereotypes that contain those tagged values as properties, group those into a UML profile and distribute them using an MDG technology file.

It sounds like more work then it actually is.

Another way to do this is to define attributes on one node. Then create instances of that node and use the set run state function to define the values for each attribute.
