Exclude Private Attribs and Membs from doc gen
« on: November 23, 2011, 10:30:59 am »
Hi, I want to know if there is a way to exclude Private and/or Protected attributes and methods from document generation. I want to generate one document with all attributes/members and another document showing only those that are Public.

I already tried some things, but nothing worked... all Private still appear in the generated document.

Any clue? hint? advice?  :P

I already tried that.
I created filters with different options (one at a time):
  • 'attribute' -> 'scope' -> 'one of' -> 'Public'  (checking 'Required')
  • 'attribute' -> 'scope' -> 'one of' -> 'Private'  (checking 'Required')
  • 'attribute' -> 'scope' -> 'one of' -> 'Public'  (not checking 'Required')
  • 'attribute' -> 'scope' -> 'one of' -> 'Private'  (not checking 'Required')
None of them worked. In all cases all attributes (Public and Private) appeared in the generated document (in attributes table, using 'basic template')  :(

Am I misunderstanding something?

If it's not working I suggest sending a support request to Sparx Systems, because that's the way you should be filtering out the private and protected members.
