editing shapes in stereotypes
« on: November 25, 2011, 09:26:45 am »
I am creating a profile where I am extending a Part element.

I would like to lock down the shape so that it cannot be resized. In fact I would like to lock it down to the extent that it can only be moved or change its name. Can these be done easily?

I also have some label questions.
1) I am externalising the label of the element and have found the size of the text area is way too big this gets in the way. To avoid having to resize it manually after dropping each instance of the element onto a diagram can I set the area to stick to the size of the text?
2) Can I position the text area with respect to the element?

A general comment on documantation. I have spent way too much time trying to track down the available tags in the UML element/connector that I can exploit in the shape editor in conditonal hasTag statements with very little joy. Does this information exist? Am I blind? :)
