How to enable the UML Element Toolbar
« on: February 26, 2018, 02:07:47 pm »
The Diagram Note Element is on the UML Elements Toolbar.  One of our Users has "lost" the toolbar, but there doesn't seem to be any way to enable it again.

It's not on the list of Start | Show | Window | Show Toolbar > ...

Help!

TIA,
Paolo

Applying a different Workspace layout usually does the trick (finding mysteriously hidden toolbars)

Thanks, Nizam, but he's a new user and doesn't have any setup yet.

I don't think the toolbar is on any of the standard layouts (otherwise it would likely be on the list), but even it is, it doesn't help him much as it's not the layout he's working with.

Help, Help!  :(

Hi Paolo

To enable UML Element Toolbar back

Go to Start -> Preferences ( in Workspace section group ) -> Customize -> Tool Bar tab -> and enable UML Elements

or

Go To Start -> Window -> Show ToolBar -> Default Tool Bar ( or any tool bar ) and in the right most of the tool bar there will be a drop down click it and then navigate to Add or Remove Buttons -> customize -> Tool Bar tab -> and enable UML Elements

I recently had it that the toolbar was squeezed left of the diagram window. It was a bit fiddly but after some tries I got it expanded again. EAUI as usual.
