Incorperate model templates into a profile

Dear All,

I am creating a MDG technology that provides a profile with project structure templates. I have updated the .mts file to include the path for project structure resources (the posting from Simon M on 7.June.2017 was very helpful for this). That works fine. However, i'm puzzling over 2 problems:

1). Currently, the model wizard entries appear under the technology "Other" . How can I specify a new technology category?
I have read the help section on "Incorperate model templates" but I am still puzzled.

2). Currently, the project structure resource is an xml file that is copied to a local directory. How can I make such resources available to a large group of profile users without being dependent on a local file for the resources?

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for this. It seems that we have similar requirements regarding packaging. I guess I am a little dissappointed with the outcome of the discussion though. I was hoping that there may be more consistent and holistic approach. Also, I have the difficulties presented by a large organisation with IT department, admin rights , etc., and the problems with regular updates.

The first question of mine regarding the naming the technology category for the wizard is still a mystery.

FYI: Though this will add custom patterns to others. In EA 14 sparx systems has removed others from category
