Sequence Connector Properties Doesn't Work
« on: May 19, 2018, 08:47:03 am »
Trying to switch the life-cycle of a sequence diagram connector to 'New' does not work.  The change never takes affect.
With the dialog box not having an Apply/Ok button, does anyone know how to get around this?

Is it possible for the Properties Dialog box be configured as Modal?
thanks,
DN

It might be a bug, make sure to let Sparx know.

Have you tried changing something else as well?
It could be that changing the life-cycle alone doesn't register the connector as dirty.

Also: When the Connector Properties dialog is activated by selecting a sequence diagram connector, it does not have a scroll bar, so cannot access all its fields.

This is in addition to the issues described by dnemiro1. I am currently making a sequence diagram, and have to confirm changes via a popup warning box (to save changes) when changing focus away from the connector. Big pain...

I've experienced both of these issues in 14 as well.

In the case when changing a field doesn't register a change, toggling a checkbox like "is return" back and forth seems to work-a-round the issue.

In the case of no scroll bars (neither horizontal or vertical), I just have to dock or float the panel in an area that is big enough to access all fields. Even Tabbing between fields won't change the view (another issue).
