Alternative image for profile elements

Hi all,
I have created my own profile with a set of elements, and each of them has own shape script.
Problem occurs when I import MDG technology based on this profile, and use one of these elements in diagram, i'm not allowed to change the appearance, by using "Select alternate image" menu option. This option is disabled.

I know the problem is in using the shape scripts, because when i don't use them, the problem disappears.

But is there any way, i can use my own shape script for the element appearance, and if I decide to do so, also "Alternate image" option as well?
