Using EA for testing databases

We have recently started using EA in Our Agile Development team. I have been given the assignment to answer and document the following:

1. How can Enterprise Architect be used for testing databases?
2. Is there a way of making testing automatic upon check-in of changes to a database?

You should elaborate on "testing database" since as this question stands it's not clear what tests you intend to perform.
