Referring to a Class' attribute in a state transition
« on: June 16, 2018, 07:10:53 am »
HI,

I am using EA 13.  I am somewhat functional in EA diagramming.

I would like to create a transition in a state machine that tests to see if a class' attribute equals a certain value.  Is this possible? How can it be done?

I see that triggers and signals are the way this is typically done.  I think triggers are for simulated state machines.  Signals seem more relevant but I can't see how to link the notion of a class's attribute to the signal.
