documentation template: how to list elements
« on: February 08, 2012, 11:42:41 pm »
Hello.
I' m using enterprise architect 7.5.
I have an eap file containing a component model, and a documentation package that I use to generate rtf documnt related to the component diagram.
In my component diagram there are components, required and provided interfaces and parts.
In the EA template, that I use to generate the rtf document, there is this table:

embedded elements >

{EmbeddedElement.Type}      {EmbeddedElement.Name}      {EmbeddedElement.Notes}

< embedded elements

The above table list all the embedded elements in a component.
But, if I want (for example) 1 table that list only the RequiredInterface elements,
and another table (in the same template) that list only the ProvidedInterface elements and another table that list only the parts :
How can I do this ?
Is it possible to do?

Thanks for any helps.

Regards.

Fabrizio

Fabrizio,
 if you're struggling with the RTF generator - and who hasn't- have a look at our new EA document generator: http://www.eaDocX.com. This might give you the kinds of documents you need. There's a 30 free trial, so you can have a look and see if it helps.
