ArcGIS Extension | missing documentation?
« on: August 24, 2018, 05:38:08 am »
I have been successfully using the ArcGIS extension in EA (13) to model and export project geodatabases.  However, the modeling interface allows access to a number of ArcGIS Tags, with names like; AncillaryRole, CanVersion, ModelName OIDFieldName, Metadata, etc.  Some are fairly obvious, some require me to spend time using trial and error to figure out what they do.

Can anybody point me to documentation that identifies and explain the function of the ArcGIS tags / parameters in the extension?   I have tried all of the usual internet searches with no luck.

Thanks, however I have reviewed all of the available ArcGIS specific webinars from Sparx, but need something more detailed.  For example, when creating a feature class there is a parameter called CanVersion that accepts true/false, and few lines below another parameter called Versioned that is also true / false.  So what happens if CanVersion is set to false and Versioned is set to true? How does the Esri Workspace Importer resolve this?

I am looking for a document that explains what each of these parameters is for, so I don't create problems for myself.

Actually I have no idea about ArcGIS. Maybe you wait a few days if some Sparx supporter (or anyone else) responds. If not: contact Sparx sales and ask about the documentation of their product.
