EPPRofile:: ?
« on: December 11, 2018, 05:52:26 pm »
We are having problems with EA "Hijacking" our MDG stereotypes - even though we ONLY have our MDG selected in the lists.

One such was the "Goal" stereotype which ended up in our t_xref tables as: @STEREO;Name=goal;FQName=EPProfile::goal;@ENDSTEREO;
Anyone know where the EPProfile comes from?  BTW- note the change of case in the stereotype.

TIA,
Paolo

The first I recommend upon new EA installations is to get rid of all those MDGs in the EA program folder.

That's what I thought Geert, but its ID is "EP" not "EPProfile".  So where did EPProfile::goal come from?  It should have been EP::goal.

If this "hijacking" bug keeps up, that may be the only way to go; although I am loathed to do that (and shouldn't have to).

The id of the technology is EP. EPProfile comes from the profile name.

Remind me NOT to use Windows Search.  It didn't show up "EPProfile " as the content of ErikssonPenker.xml.

I should have used my normal search mechanism.

Obviously, Search is harder than it looks, given the number of issues we have with it.  ("No names, no pack drill"  ;))
