Ordering inside Package element
« on: February 05, 2019, 01:12:36 am »
Hello,

this is basic question, but I can not really find solution for couple of hours :(

I have Package diagram for Functional requirements. There are Package elements in diagram e.g. "Data Collection" abd "XY Assessment". These elements contain Requirements.

I know - for ordering in Project Browser I use arrows.

Ou I don't even know how to paste image here :(

In package diagram I have package element containing requirements:

FR04
FR02
FR01
FR03

How to order them?

In Project Browser order of requirements is ok.

Thanks for help

I guess you can alter the order in a package icon on a diagram.

To post pictures here you need to place them on a public server and use the link. Welcome to the 21st century.

Dear qwerty,

first to this message board.

When I tried to create this thread for the first time, it was not possible - captcha said that I am robot.
I pressed Back to post, captcha was working, I posted - there was error "Duplicate post" . But there was still nothing posted.

I started from the beginning again and posted this thread correctly. So I don't want 21st century like this message board technology.

I don't understand why is problem for a company like Sparx to have one web folder for pictures. There is even part "Attachments and other options"  with no attachment possibilities during posting.

Back to problem:

I don't know what is package icon. Please see the picture and help.

I don't see picture - I don't understand this img tag. I have to return my master IT degree.

Thank you

Well, the board... The captcha is easily bypassed by robots to post spam but it's hard to bypass for humans. I know that myself since when I'm rarely asked to enter it, I'm also lost. Search for "SPAM" in this forum for your amusement. Or for some depression you need to get down :-/ My 21st century remark was a bit sarcastic...

And back to your question: You can not order the contents of the picture (AFAKIK) . There's some option "Sort features alphabetically" which might have a (global) influence. You might send a feature request. But, really, don't hold your breath.

Alternatively create a diagram, enlarge the package and drag the diagram as frame over the package. This will in any case take more space.

Thank you for the answer.

I don't have to waste time looking for this configuration.

I am a little surprised, such powerful tool missing this basic visualization feature.
