Enumeration data source

Hi there,
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a data source as an enumeration?

We have a UML Profile that we use for our model and we use several enumerations there which are hard-coded.

However we would like to use another data source to populate the enumeration. Does anyone know if this is possible?

That is not possible out of the box.

I'm sure it should be possible to write an addin that does though.
