Using EA for Test Management
« on: April 19, 2019, 02:46:55 am »
We are using EA for modeling a software application. We are thinking about developing our Test and Evaluation support in the model: Test Plan, Test Procedures and Test Cases. Has anyone done this and had a good ROI? Do you have another application that is better suited? Do Microsoft Word documents and spreadsheets work for your project?

We used EA for functional testcase analysis, based upon our use cases.
That worked pretty good as we could copy the use case scenario's into the test cases.

I don't recommend using it to track actual test runs and results.
We decided not to use it for unit tests because we didn't keep that level of details in the model.
