User Template - Requirements in table
« on: April 16, 2019, 07:44:11 pm »
Hello,
I use template selector for different elements in my documentation e.g. Requirements, Use Cases
And I want to have my Requirements in a table looking like this:

NameNotesModified
Requirement 1This is my first requirement11:38:00 16.04.2019
Requirement 2This is my second requirement11:39:00 16.04.2019

i try it with:

package >
element >
Name //as plain textNotes  //as plain textModified  //as plain text
Name //as field from right button context menuNotes  //as field from right button context menuModified  //as field from right button context menu

< element
< package

but it repeats heading for every requirement (i know that's this template is a loop for every element such as requirement).
How can i handle with this problem?

ps. i can't use Specification Manager List template or any other because this have to be inside one document with another contents.

There's an option in the table options to indicate it has a header row.
This will avoid duplication of that first row.

Ok, I have realized that this probably works in template, but doesn't work in Fragments...
Is there any way to fix this?

It does work in fragments. I use that all the time.

I belive you, but this faith doesn't help me.
Is there any way to export template into XML to check what happens?

Yes, that looks exactly like the templates I make.
Yes, you can export a template to xml with the option Configure | Transfer | Export reference data

Sometimes when stuff like this doesn't work I start over with a new template, and it suddenly works. Might be worth a try.

Hi Maciou,

I could, but then we would first need to agree on a price.
Unfortunately I can't work for free; need to feed the kids etc.. :D

If you are serious about this please email me at [email protected]
