Sequence Flow disappeared (Custom Diagram)

Hello dear ones,

We have a problem with the connectors and custom diagrams in our MDG technology, we use two own strereotypes which extend BPMN::Activity and BPMN::Pool. When you select an object in a diagram, a frame around the object appears by default and three symbols appear in the upper-right corner: an arrow, a brush and a magnifying glass.
If you now click on the arrow to create a sequence between two activities, there is no possibility to select the sequence flow...
When using the standard BPMN toolbox together with our custom diagrams, the sequence flow also no longer works because there is no selection option. 

Only "Control Flow" and "Object Flow" and the connectors below "Common" are available.

If you now click on the arrow to create a sequence between two activities, there is no possibility to select the sequence flow...

You should see a "Filter to Toolbox" option in the popup menu. Unset that.

but how can I access (open) this popup menu you mean?
We found out the sequence flow just doesn't work on our custom diagrams.
Please let me know how to set this option for custom diagrams.

We are using Enterprise Architect 13.5.1351
