Reporting - filter the returned connector list

I have a set of requirements that are realized by components.  I have a report that shows the requirement and the components that realize it.  I have been trying to figure out how to filter the component list returned.  Each component has a tagged value of Vendor, what I would like to do is

1. Filter the results so that the requirements only show components with Vendor=ABC
2. Show all requirements even if there is no ABC vendor associated with the requirement.

Using the reporting tool, I have a template that has each element and within that result, it returns a component list using a Connector>Source>Element>
