Version Control
« on: July 01, 2019, 07:37:13 pm »
Hi
I am putting my model under source control and have a few questions
  • selecting a package and right clicking to add to version control does not allow you to specify a name for the xml file
  • Creating a new package under a previously controlled package and clicking the option to add to version control does allow you to change the xml filename
[li] When placed under source control many folders seem to be created ea0, ea1 etc
[/li][/list]
If anyone can throw any light on these I would be grateful

Do you mean source control or package control?

If you mean package control, what package control options have you specified and at what level in the package hierarchy are you applying the configuration?

If you right click and choose Package Control | Configure you can a filename per package.
If you choose Add Branch, EA will assign filenames for each package underneath the selected package.
