v15 – WARNING: Browser: Delete Selected Items deletes WRONG set

If you attempt to delete a number of elements from the browser, say you select 20 items in a row (with [Shift-Drag]) if you now try to exclude some from the list; first of all the behaviour of the browser selection is problematic.  But suppose you figure how to "game" EA to get the items you want (say 5) not selected and you initiate "Delete Selected Item(s)"¹ you end up with 6 items remaining (the last item on the list, although selected for deletion remains)!

Be VERY CAREFUL with this functionality otherwise, you may inadvertently PURGE the wrong items.  (Ask me how I know  )

¹   Why does EA use the singural form Item(s) when there are ALWAYS multiple when the message is generated.  (If there's only one, it renders the item's name).

Hi Sunshine,

As the title says, it was a v15 build.  I generally use the "latest and greatest" so, according to the release schedule in the "Latest News" board, it was 1508 (since confirmed by the bug report return).  So, yes, it's been reported (as noted in the post )

However, that's only when I noticed it.  I have no idea how long it's been "lurking"!

Yeah V15 is the version not the build number I was after. Latest is Build is actually 1511.
Anyway I've just tested this out on V15 Build 1511.
It looks like the problem is still there. Kind of weird behaviour aye?
