Architecture Question - Sync 2 repositories
« on: October 24, 2019, 12:07:59 am »
Hi,
we're currently using EA with a SQL Server repository.
We'd like to have devs from another company to work with us but for security and privacy reason, we would like to make them work in a separate environment.
Is there any way to give them acces to another SQL server repository and have both SQL servers synced together ?

Many thanks

You can have an internal model with the 100% of the objets. Then, expose via RAS a portion of your model, and make the external company to access via RAS.

You can use a connection to version control to synchronize elements from multiple repositories.

But this comes at a non trivial overhead cost.
