Use of Sparx EA Light against SQL repository
« on: December 17, 2019, 09:34:49 pm »
Hello out there :)
Any one using EA Light against a SQL repository?
- Does each user need to have a individual accout?
- or can thay use one common account with most restrictions ON

Any other thoughts that needs attentions?

We used to yes.

Back when you still had to import users manually it makes sense to create a single "read-only" EA user to log into EA.
Now in v15, you can link to AD groups, so there's not really an excuse anymore to do allow a single "dummy" user.

You are right. Why would that be?
Did Sparx forget to put up a v15 lite?

I would send an email to Sparx to ask.
