Divide Diagram into Multiple Pages divides it into one page
« on: March 06, 2020, 01:29:17 am »
Hi all,

If I go into a diagram's properties and select Divide Diagram into Multiple Pages, and then run off a document (eg the built-in Diagram Report) the first generated image indeed only contains the upper-left section of the diagram -- but the other parts never appear. So instead of dividing the diagram into multiple images, EA just crops it down to fit on one page.

EA also screws up the image size when this option is set. A diagram which is too wide for the page is cropped to the right as described, but the height of the image is padded to fill the whole page. The image isn't stretched, there's just a massive amount of white emptiness below the diagram down to the bottom of the page. Which would be plenty of space for the part of the diagram that's off the page on the right, but as I said that image doesn't get generated.

When combining with Rotate Images, even more fun stuff happens.

This is so obviously screwed up there's got to be something I'm doing wrong.

What is it?

I'm generating to A4 from 15.0.1512.
