Works just the same, but with more recent versions you can use the better Stylesheet option, see https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/15.1/model_publishing/rtfdialogoptions.html

Thanks skiwi, the reason for the question is that it "does not appear to work in v13" - emphasis intentionally added. I'll check the 15.1 stylesheets.

I guess make sure that the template is in
%APPDATA%\Sparx Systems\EA\RTF Templates\

All I can say is that the document generation has continued to improve through the EA versions.

But having said that I still find issus with styles being applied, I suspect because Word doesn't "get" the styles generated by EA where there are multiple model documents each with its documnet template each (re)defining word styles.

Plus to be frank I've struggled to get the Stylesheet option to work the way I expect it to - which is to simply replace (override) the styles it defines across the entire document.

I've managed to get the styles working just fine with stylesheets. You just have to change the style in style sheet and not just the text illustrating the style which is a common mistake.
I can send you an example if you like or after the lock down we could meet up for coffee and I can walk you through it.
Happy to help

I've done a lot of document generation in version 12, and there the stylesheet works mostly.
The only issue I found was the "normal" style. That one didn't behave, so I don't use that anymore and created my own MyNormal style.

That's been true of Word itself for decades.  The first thing one does is create one's own "Normal" style and base everything on that.
