Metamodel Views and Templates Package
« on: May 16, 2020, 10:46:14 pm »
I get the concept of Views, however it would be really handy if Templates could discern the difference between Views of a diagram type.  A specific use case would be that some default appearance and settings could be different from one View to another and/or different from the primary diagram type.

Any suggestions/ideas on an approach?

I'm guessing some of the inconsistent and inaccurate behavior is all related - potentially to my original ask on this thread:

I've confirmed that if you define/create a related template in the Template Package, when you go to create a diagram with a specific metamodel view, the diagram type defaults to "Class" rather than the custom defined diagram type.  If you remove the related template in the Template Package and go to create a diagram with the specific metamodel view, the diagram type reflects the appropriate defined diagram type.
