Quicklink broken
« on: May 28, 2020, 12:06:11 am »
I'm having a weird issue today.

For some reason the quicklink seems to be broken.
I only get the standard Dependency, Trace and Information Flow when I try to link most types of element (Class -> Class, Action -> Action,...)
Only ArchiMate3 items don't seem to be affected.

I tried this in several different models, and they all behave the same.
I have turned the "Filter to toolbox" on and off, but that doesn't make a difference.

Anyone an idea what I might have done wrong?

Version is 15.1.1528

I figured it out.

In order to restrict the technologies that can be used I removed a bunch of files from the program files folders InternalTechnologies and MDGTechnologies

Turns out there's a file in InternalTechnologies called system_tech.xml that you shouldn't remove.
Apparently this file (which is not an xml file by the way) is responsible for the UML quicklinks.
copying it back to the InternalTechnologies folder restored the quicklinks, so all good now.
