suppression of context information for interfaces on diagrams
« on: September 11, 2020, 04:54:50 pm »
How can I suppress that lengthy context information shown in interfaces on class diagrams if the interfaces are not on top level?
Diagram properties allow me to tailor a lot what shall be exposed. But I was not able to suppress the interfaces context information shown in the interface symbol separated by double colon. It clutters my diagrams.

I use the default components hierarchy mechanism from EA, so no package hierarchy, just components - seems to me the fastest method.
In the hierarchy I am putting an interface declaration not on top level, but as low as possible, however high enough so that any using or the providing component is covered.

No answer?
Here is what I mean:

Interface2 is not on top level. Its context is Component1:: - so far so good.
Imagine you have 4 long name levels and a short name for the interface - unreadable on a class diagram.

I can customize a lot of things on diagrams. But I did not make it to suppress the context information of lower leveled interfaces.

Any idea? Or is this simply missing in EA. (I am using EA15.1)
