Window sizing (still in 15.2)
« on: April 09, 2021, 07:27:58 pm »
We had this year over year (just search for skiwi's posts and Paolo was complainig too IIRC). Windows are not resizable. Here: Suppress Features in Diagram. What the heck are you designing? Do you have any plan? Any QA? Why is it that windows are nor per DEFAULT resizeable if they have any varying size content? That's really bejond my understanding.

Because resizable windows are more complex and thus more expensive to build.

Which means: all windows should be fixed size to achieve the least cost?

I wasn't saying anything about what should or should not. Just saying that making a fixed size dialog costs less than a resizable one.
So that is probably the reason why so many dialogs have a fixed size.

Personally I think most of the dialogs in EA should be resizable.
