BPMN 2.0 Business Process icon question
« on: June 22, 2021, 06:31:13 am »
Hello,

I see into my existing system, sometimes, a red letter ("A")  in the Business Process icon, to the left of the "glasses" sign.  Does anyone know what that means and how it got there/what does it do?  See attachment for an example.

I am not sure if my attachment is there.  I dragged it into the message but I don't see it.  How do I attach a file?

It contains a Linked Document (ctrl-alt-d) you once created (accidentally).

Thanks for responding.  I'm not clear: is your response about the red "A" or about the attachment (or lack of it)?

The red A means you have an attachment. Just try the context menu Linked Document or the kbd-shortcut I mentioned.

I understand what you are saying, however I cannot find this attachment.  When I click the kbd combination, a blank page comes up. Don't know how to invoke the context menu . . .

The blank page is the linked document. It might not contain any text (yet).

If you want to remove it you have to go through the Document docked window and choose "Delete Linked Document" from the hamburger menu option.

Thanks for the clarification.  But . . . how do I get to the "document docked window"?

Start | Explore | Portals | Windows
This opens the windows list on the right side. Then choose the Document window from that list.

I see the document option on the right side of the screen, with a document name in it.  After I select it (it's blank) I don't see a hamburger menu that offers me the option to delete.
