File scoped namespaces
« on: February 09, 2022, 03:16:51 am »
Hi,
I am currently evaluating EA 1602.
Although the code import for C# has gotten a lot better, it still seems to have a issue when encountering
File scoped namespaces.
Is there a chance that this gets fixed before the 16 is released?

Best Regards
Rainer

Microsoft still lists C# 10 as a Draft specification. I wouldn't expect that to be given priority at this stage, but have you sent in a bug report on the topic?

Hi Eve,

thank you for your response!
File scoped namespaces are fully functional in Visual Studio 2022. There for I believe they should be functional in EA as well.
How ever, no I did not send a bug report yet. Thanks for the hint. Did so a minute ago.

Best Regards
Rainer

Since June we have EA 16.0.1605.
The Issue is still not fixed. I am wondering if it will be fixed at all :-(
